Best Will in the World Week

This web development project aimed to promote legacy giving by providing a directory of solicitors who are participating in the Best Will in the World campaign. This campaign provides those wishing to leave a legacy to charity with a fixed price consultation with a participating solicitor.

Directory of Solicitors

The core feature of the project is a facility which allows solicitors to register on the website and create a listing containing their contact and location details. 

The registration system creates a user account for the solicitor allowing them to log in and create and manage their listing.

The system includes a publishing approval system and administration reports.

Location Based Searching

The search utilises geo-location information to find solicitors closest to the users home location. A 'Browse by County' facility is also proved as an alternative to the location based search.

The Story so Far...

The site was launched on September 1st 2013 and during the first three weeks more than 200 solicitors have successfully added their details to the online directory.
